“Boyz to Men” explores the profound effects of growing up in a single-parent household and the ways these experiences influence fatherhood. Through a narrative that weaves together the stories of a young boy and an adult man navigating the challenges of fatherhood, the documentary highlights themes of resilience, hope, and the transformative power of love.

Out of everything I’ve accomplished, Boyz to Men is the project I’m most proud of. Creating a documentary was never something I planned—but pitching this idea, not knowing what it would become, turned out to be the start of something powerful. The people I met and the stories I had the honor of telling showed me that this is just the beginning.

Long-form storytelling quickly became my favorite form of journalism. I’ve always loved getting lost in a good documentary, and now, I’ve had the chance to create one that means something—not just to me, but to my community. I’m grateful for this experience, and even more excited knowing this won’t be my last.
